Legal Defense Fund Marshall-Motley Scholars Program 2025

This scholarship is in honor of civil rights activist Thurgood Marshall, the 1st Black Supreme Court Justice, and Constance Baker Motley, 1st Black Woman to become a federal judge. This scholarship provides intentional investment in populating, developing, and enriching the field of civil rights lawyers committed to racial justice. LDF has supported and helped develop some of this nation’s most legendary civil rights lawyers and leaders. We look forward to seeing our MMSP Scholars follow in these legendary footsteps.

Internships:

Accessing The Law’s Undergraduate Law Review

This is a student run organization that helps make changes in the legal field more understandable for everyone. We have various cohorts in different areas of the legal field, including Corporate Law, Criminal Justice, Intellectual Property Law, Environmental Law, and Constitutional Law. All internships are entirely remote, and meet 1-3 times a month on zoom.
